Welcome to The Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network

Humans and the Environment Symposium

March 7, 2022 - March 25, 2022
Faculty-led

In what ways is the current ecological crisis entangled with histories of racism, sexism, and economic disparities? How might technology be utilized in ethical and just ways to (re)imagine our human cultural practices and ecological impact? This theme relates to the intersection of humanistic scholarship and scientific study of the ongoing ecological crisis. This 10-day symposium included a combination of virtual and in person events: three workshops, a lecture, and a participatory asynchronous sound walk activity.

The Humans and the Environment Symposium is sponsored by OSUN and the Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network.
