This project relates to Birkbeck School of Arts postgraduate research online journal Dandelion, founded in 2010 with support from the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The journal’s mission is to create training and professional opportunities for postgraduate research students, with a sustainable editorship structure that incorporates academic staff as well as post-graduate research students, an updated web space, and a wider range of contributors and work. The result is a student-led online space for research, creative practice, training, interviews, and reviews from Birkbeck and other EHCN institutions, underpinned by core skills training on journal editing and mentorship for events organizing.

Dandelion launched at an event for Birkbeck Arts Week (May 2021) and released a first special issue in October 2021.
