This roundtable workshop aimed to spark conversation in and beyond academic communities about the role archives might play in the future of history. It acknowledged and brought together a growing dialogue in the historical study of decolonisation processes, as well as a wider conversation about decolonising knowledge, archives and the academy.
The conversation feeds into a new MA module on ‘Decolonising History,’ currently scheduled for Spring Term 2022 in the Department of History, Classics, and Archaeology. It also dialogues with the ongoing college-wide conversation on decolonising the curriculum.
