Saida Hamad and Laura Menchaca Ruiz co-directed and produced a collaborative (student + faculty) documentary that explores the use of low- and high-tech technology in the surveillance of Palestinians across 1948 and the occupied territories. The film interviews four Palestinians about their personal experiences with Israeli surveillance across three locations: Hebron, Jerusalem, and Ramallah. The film was produced over the summer and fall of 2024, and will be screened at AQB later this fall, and will also be made available for use in classrooms across the EHCN network.
