This symposium theme relates to what it means to be named, broadly construed. This includes topics related to space/place and political borders as well as topics related to gender, sexuality, race, and identity. Virtual symposium events included two forum events for students across the Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network to share the stories of their names, as well as a film screening and Q&A of Decolonize this City, podcast listening session, student readings, and a keynote presentation by poet and literature professor Tsering Wangmo Dhompa.
