A survey on preferences regarding skills-based workshops, among Bard College Berlin (BCB) students, faculty, and staff in December 2020, showed substantial interest in a podcasting workshop. To develop a podcasting workshop meeting very specific BCB needs, Professor Agata Lisiak collaborated closely with Reece Cox, BCB alum and now Berlin-based radio producer, musician, and writer. Cox offered two 3-hour workshops in addition to several advising sessions to help participants develop their individual podcast projects. In order to maintain the hands-on character of the sessions, participants were limited to about 20 (23 people attended the first session, 17 people attended the second session). Participants included primarily students, with three faculty members and one staff member involved in other EHCN activities.
