Podcasting Workshop with Radio Plato

May 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Increasingly digitized, both synchronous and asynchronous, the process of university teaching and learning requires audial materials of high technical quality, that are also appealing and accessible in terms of storytelling. This project addressed this need, gathering 20 competitive participants from among European Humanities University (EHU) students, faculty, staff, and social partners.

Radio Plato is an independent internet radio station based in Minsk, Belarus. Its founders follow their passion to share diverse music, some of which was lost or forgotten, the rest is just great. Apart from that, they write about the local music scene, host shows, publish podcasts, do sound design for apps and videos, produce music for ads, and teach people how to treat their audio better. Workshop participants developed their own projects with different stages of development (preferably with potential to grow into series later).
