Interactive Museum "Kafkaesque Nightmare"

June 15, 2024 - June 16, 2024
Faculty-led

The project of interactive museum "Kafkaesque Nightmare" was conceived within the course Introduction to Humanities and aimed to highlight the centenary of Franz Kafka's death. It featured an opening performance and three rooms dedicated to Franz Kafka’s writings. Despite the fact that Kafka wrote in the early 20th century, he reflected human aspects that are still relevant today: bureaucracy and the absurdity of power, identity and human existence, technology and media, social and political problems. Authors of the museum tried to give an opportunity to the visitors not only to look, but also to experience the depth and versatility of the writer’s work. They have created a space for critical reflection on the interaction between the contemporary moment and the world described in Kafka’s works. Authors’ motto - “Only those who realize the absurdity of this world will be able to change it”!
