“Everyday Heroes” is an art exhibition featuring the work of illustrator and graphic artist, Omar Al-Sayed. Al-Sayed commemorates the heroism of everyday Gazans in his artwork, featured via his instagram account. With his permission and participation, we printed his artwork and hung it in our medial lab. The exhibition was mounted in Spring 2024 as a part of our annual Yom al-Ard commemoration, and will remain through Spring 2025. In addition to the exhibition, one of our students produced a podcast episode that interviewed Omar Al-Sayed about his artwork.
