Eco-Hike in Battir/Makhrour and Biodiversity Lecture

Al-Makhrour and Battir, Palestine. Hosted by Al-Quds Bard College.

Participants learned about Palestine's biodiversity and the challenges of conducting environmental research as well as conducting conservation work in the context of the Israeli occupation. Students hiked in a UNESCO world heritage site, and learned about Palestinian farming practices past and present. Facilitated by the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity & Sustainability.
