The last course section of Art and Environment: Perspectives on Land, Landscape, and Ecology, “contemporary ecologies,” includes a variety of artists and curators for a contemporary perspective. Curtis Quam was one of the 2021 speakers who talked with the class virtually on two related subjects: Zuni farming, particularly the history and contemporary use of waffle gardens; and the A:shiwi Map Art project.
