The goal of the project is to compile “Theory of the Experiment” around a series of modules that can be taken up and adapted for use by colleagues teaching the course—or any related course—in the future. Designed around introductions to disciplinary knowledge-making, the course will invite specialist scholars in diverse fields to introduce both their field’s theory of experimentation, and to construct, along with the project lead, a practical component whereby students will engage in disciplinary experimentation in ways that will lead to comparison and contrast across disciplines.
